After nearly three years and 2,110 U.S. troop fatalities, the Bush administration finally releases what it calls a “National Strategy for Victory in Iraq”. The problem is, it’s nothing new. “Ladies and gentlemen, behold… A PR document!”

The strategy describes what has transpired in Iraq so far as a resounding success and still refuses to establish any standards for accountability. It dismisses serious problems such as the dramatic increase in bombings as “metrics that the terrorists and insurgents want the world to use.” Americans know that it’s time for a new course in Iraq.

In the end, this document is only a 38 page book to justify W's plan to "stay the course.”

Bullshit.

By the way, why do people tell me that we are “winning the war?”  What war?  I thought we were liberating Iraq!    I thought we were doing anything but fighting a war.

  • Looking for WMDs

  • Reform the Greater Middle East

  • Liberate the Oppressed

  • Protect Integrity of the U.N.

  • Fight Them Abroad So We Don’t Face Them At Home

  • Pursuing the Policy of Previous Administration

  • Removing a State Sponsor of Terror
